This interactive workshop is for those wishing to obtain a basic overview of qualitative research in the health and healthcare setting. It will address the following learning objectives:
- What kinds of research and evaluation questions are best answered qualitatively?
- What are the strengths and limitations of the most common qualitative research methods?
- Which of the different qualitative traditions are most commonly employed for health research? How do these differ in their conceptualization of research questions, and approach to data collection and analysis?
