Let's party! Holidays as Natural Experiments
Jan 14, 2019 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm
700-828 W. 10 Ave., VGH Research Pavilion
Holidays can be used to examine the health effects of exposures that are impractical or unethical to study using prospective randomized trials. This approach may identify opportunities to improve population health. In this presentation, Dr. Staples will discuss recent and ongoing work that uses observational data to examine risk factors for injury. The talk will highlight a recent project examining traffic fatalities on Halloween and on the annual 4/20 cannabis celebration.
C2E2 Rounds are presented Mondays from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in room 700 of the VGH Research Pavilion, 828 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, BC.
